ANGHENION ADDYSGOL YCHWANEGOL

Mae gan yr ysgol bolisi o gyfle cyfartal i’r holl ddisgyblion beth bynnag eu rhyw, eu cred a’u gallu. Mae gan bob plentyn yr hawl i addysg eang, gytbwys, gydlynol, berthnasol a gwahaniaethol. Darperir ymyraethau ar gyfer plant sydd ag anghenion ychwanegol sy’n cyd-redeg â gweithgarwch y dosbarth a’r ysgol gyfan.

Bydd plant sydd ag Anghenion Addysgol Ychwanegol yn derbyn Cynllun Addysg Unigol i’w helpu gyda’u datblygiad addysgiadol. Mae’r cydlynydd anghenion ychwanegol a’r cynorthwywyr dysgu yn rhoi sylw ychwanegol i unigolion ac i grwpiau o ddisgyblion.

Trwy ddefnyddio’r Côd Ymarfer ar Adnabod Anghenion Arbennig a’u Hasesu, mae’r ysgol yn cydnabod fod yna anghenion addysgol arbennig, gan gynnwys Mwy Abl a Thalentog, a’i hamcanion felly yw rhoi’r ddarpariaeth orau o ateb gofynion unigolion.

ADDITIONAL LEARNING NEEDS

The school has an equal opportunities policy for all pupils regardless of sex, belief or ability. All pupils have access to a broad, balanced and differentiated education. The Additional Learning Needs policy and interventions have been prepared to run in conjunction with the classroom and school activities.

Children with Additional Learning Needs are given Individual Educational Plans to aid their educational development. The additional needs coordinator and support staff provide individual and group tuition to pupils who need additional support.

By using the Code of Practice on the Identification and Assessment of Special Educational Needs, the school recognises that there is a continuum of Additional Learning Needs, including More Able and Talented, and endeavours to offer a continuum of provision to meet individual needs.
